FamilyOS

Beta Program — Now Accepting Families

Meet FamilyOS — your family's personal assistant

FamilyOS reads your email and calendar, learns what matters to your family, and sends you a daily briefing right in WhatsApp. Your assistant lives in a group chat with your family — both parents see everything, no extra app or login required.

Every family gets to name their assistant. Ours is called Alfred. Yours can be whatever feels right.

What we've built so far

FamilyOS is a working product in active testing. Here's what's live today:

Family WhatsApp group chat

Your assistant joins a dedicated WhatsApp group with your family. Both parents are in it. Drop a message, photo, or voice note — the assistant responds right there in the chat. No app to download, no dashboard to check, no separate login.

Daily briefings

Your assistant sends a personalized morning briefing with today's schedule, reminders, and anything that needs your attention — pulled from your actual email and calendar.

Email & Calendar integration

FamilyOS connects to your Google or iCloud account and reads your email and calendars. It extracts school events, activities, appointments, lunch orders, and more — automatically.

Family knowledge that grows

FamilyOS remembers things about your family over time: which kid has speech therapy on Tuesdays, when uniform wash night is, who plays in which league.

Smart reminders & nudges

Proactive nudges for things that are easy to forget — lunch orders that need placing, permission slips coming due, the right day to wash uniforms.

Personalized onboarding

A conversational setup where your assistant learns about your family: kids' names and ages, schools, activities, the things that are hardest to stay on top of.

How it works

01

Onboard your family

Your assistant walks you through setup in WhatsApp: your kids, their schools, the things that stress you out. Takes about 10 minutes.

02

Connect your accounts

Link your Google or iCloud account so your assistant can see your calendar and scan your inbox for school emails, activity schedules, and appointment reminders.

03

Let it learn

Your assistant starts sending daily briefings and gets smarter over time. The more you use it, the more it knows about what your family needs.

How FamilyOS compares

Most family organizer tools want you to download their app, create an account, and check their dashboard. FamilyOS lives in the group chat your family already uses — no extra app, no extra login.

What's coming next

We're building in the open with real families.

Voice memo processing

Record a quick voice note in the group chat — your assistant transcribes it, updates the family state, and confirms. No typing required.

Photo & document scanning

Drop a photo of a school flyer, permission slip, or activity schedule into the group. Your assistant reads it and adds the details to your calendar.

Meal planning & grocery lists

Your assistant helps plan the week's meals and builds a grocery list — sent right to the group chat.

Family dashboard

A web view for when you want the full picture — calendar, events, family facts, all in one place.

Who we're looking for

FamilyOS is open to all families, but to get the most out of the beta:

You're willing to actually use it. Ideally you have kids and a busy life. The more going on, the more FamilyOS can help.
You're comfortable with GenAI in your inbox and calendar. FamilyOS uses Claude by Anthropic. Your data stays in your own secure partition and is never used to train AI models.
You're willing to give honest feedback. We check in weekly. Brutal honesty helps us build something that actually works.
You have a Google or iCloud account. FamilyOS integrates with Gmail, Google Calendar, and iCloud Calendar.

How the pilot works

4-week trial, completely free

Full access to everything — morning briefings, conversational agent, nudges, all of it. No cost.

Your data, your choice

At the end, subscribe to keep your assistant and data, or walk away and we delete everything. No lock-in.

Friends & family pricing

Beta testers who stay on get permanent early-adopter pricing — well below what we'll charge at launch.
